East Riding of Yorkshire Construction Works Framework Agreement and Keir and Interserve experiences of partnering and frameworks At the successful launch of the Best Practice Events for 2006 on the 7th March those attending had the opportunity to hear about the new Framework agreements and some real life experiences of it.
A copy of the presentations appear below, so if you attended you can refer back to this info for reference and if you were not able to attend you can still access the slides.

Safety Health Awareness Day (SHAD) 11th April 2006
|
Humber Training Group has taken the lead and is working in partnership with the HSE to organise a SHAD event for the construction community of Humberside.
It is being held at Bishop Burton College, Nr Beverley, East Yorkshire. It is an opportunity for the industry to be brought up to date with H&S in the industry and take advantage of accessing a number of support organisations who will also be exhibiting at the event. Please see attached details of the event which includes a booking form.
Please make sure you reserve your place early, as it will be booked on a first come, first served basis

Launch of the 2006 HCP Best Practice Club Events
|
7th March, Country Park Hotel, Hessle will host the launch of the Humber Construction Partners Best Practice Club events for 2006.
The first event of many will be entitled: Working In Partnership and the East Riding Framework. It will be an opportunity to bring the industry up to date with innovative developments in partnership working. It will also highlight opportunities for the local construction industry.

CITB Training Plan rules to change from 25.04.05.

A number of changes have been made to the rules relating to what you can claim for under the training plan route. Please find attached a copy of the CITB letter giving full details of the changes.

Working In Partnership Workshops
|
|
HCP's series of Working in Partnership workshops and seminars, supported by LSC Humber, have been so successful Humber firms are requesting repeat courses. This is testament to HCP's ability to understand local demand and its ability to facilitate support that is meaningful and practical through such experts as Dr Stuart Kings of DOCTE. Further courses are planned leading upto the summer period and announcements will be made on the web site and through e-mail. |
